On International Women’s Day, as we celebrate Women’s History Month, the Delray Beach Public Library is hosting a special showing of the film, Suffragette. As the author of Gilded Suffragists: The New York Socialites Who Fought for Women’s Right to Vote, I will make a few remarks about the differences between the American and British women’s suffrage movements, and then invite your questions.
