Johanna Neuman will be the guest speaker at Women’s Equality Day at the Delray Beach Library. She will discuss her new book, Gilded Suffragists: The New York Socialites Who Fought for Women’s Right to Vote and then Shannon Cake, an anchor for WPTV, will interview her about the book’s themes and lessons. The books will be available for sale and author’s signature after the event. Sponsored by the Palm Beach County chapter of NOW and several other local feminist groups, the event is open to the public and includes refreshments and music by Pink Slip.
